Fifty Shades – A Guilty Pleasure

Interested in some kinky reading?  A new trilogy of books entitled Fifty Shades, released in 2011 is picking up a lot of steam (and fans).  A number of popular, almost famous women in New York and beyond are touting the books content and topic as “mommy porn”.  The books center around a BDSM relationship between a ripped and hunky billionaire, Christian Grey and an inexperienced college student named Anastasia Steele. 

First time author E.L. James is supported by an independent publishing company is Australia who gambled on her vision.  Now into the third book and E. L James has sold over 100,000 copies and landed on the New York Times best seller list.  That is an incredible accomplishment in such a short period of time.

The books are relatively tame compared to much of the content in the erotic romance section.  This is a good thing as many of the books readers have never experienced BDSM and thus it is sort of an introduction to both the reader and one of the main characters.

Men and Husbands are also finding Fifty Shades a great series to read.  beyond the the perks offered from girlfriends and wives reading the content, it seems to be getting couples to start talking openly about sex and desires.

Check your nearest chapters or book store and pick of a copy of Fifty Shades.  Don’t be surprised if your back in a week picking the next one up!
